Christmas 2024 

We booked our wedding here in 2019 and from start to finish we had exceptional service and cannot find any fault at all. Gill Ball (Sales and Events Manager) guided us through the process to tailor our chosen package to our needs and left no detail untouched. The hotel is value for money compared to other wedding venues but exceeds in many areas. The hotel is lovely in appearance. Originally an old farm, the hotel is a mix of old and new and has been tastefully updated to provide a magical setting. The garden and outside areas are secluded and provide great photo opportunities. The Great Hall, where we had our wedding, is it's main selling point. The room is beautifully decorated and provided the perfect setting for our ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception. Unfortunately we had to postpone our wedding twice due to the pandemic, but Gill made the process of moving our date completely stress free. There was no demand for more money or restrictions to when we could rebook. Leading up to our day, Gill was in touch frequently making sure all of our requirements were met. She kept us at ease and planned every small detail with us. We dropped of the table decorations the day before with instructions of what we wanted and they followed this exactly. The whole team at Lancashire Manor are visibly experienced in what they do. They kept us updated throughout the day making sure at every step we were happy with how it was going. The staff are very attentive, pleasant and could not do more for us. No request was ever too much. A special thank you to Kevin and Beth who looked after us on the day. The meal at the wedding breakfast was superb. The evening menu was fabulous too and enjoyed by all of our guests. We even had bacon and sausage butties in the bar when the party was over which was a welcome addition. The morning buffet breakfast was excellent with a huge selection to choose from. The rooms were lovely and clean. Bride stayed in the night before room with her bridesmaids which accommodates a number of people. The honeymoon suite was grand and beautifully furnished. The only downside is we didn't spend that much time in there. The rest of our guests all said how lovely the rooms were. The resident DJ Tony Macaroni provided the night-time music and he didn't disappoint. He played our requested types of music as well as playing requests from guests. We could never thank Lancashire Manor enough for giving us the most perfect day and we are sure to return in the near future
